ANother Rotary Polluter is born!

I know some of you may have heard my girlfriend picked up a fc.What!?! OH Noes !! Not another??? Everything on the car is perfect, only that the engine is smoking and leaking oil.The owner said the engine was rebuilt in Vegas. But the engine is already failing. The car came with lsd, kyb adjustable suspension, eibach lowering springs, 17×8 wheels, s5 na street ported engine, msd ignition coil, aftermarket rotary ignition coilbox, stainless steel clutch line, full inteior, momo steering wheel plus quick release all for $1150. Not so bad. So the rebuild begins. Pulled the engine out with the girlfriend and started taking all the manifolds off, then taking the keg apart. I found that the water and oil seals were blown.Whoever rebuil the engine last did not insall the inner water seals and one of the out oil ring seals properly. It could also be why the last owner overheated the car. I took the irons, rotors, housing to Lucky 7 to use their ultrasonic parts cleaner. It worked awesome, both the rotors were clean like new. I went home and started to build the keg.
With suprising results, the compression was amazing for a home garage budget build. I reused all the springs, and hard seals. It didnt seem like the engine went through that many miles. The only parts I replaced were the water seals and oil control ring seals. Well heres are the photos.. and a small video clip of me cranking the engine by hand to listen to the engines compression.
