Violent Running

Today was a pretty exciting day; Kyle and I were going to check out the freshly painted Golden Fc, and it was even MORE exciting because Kyle seems ready to paint his car finally…

Pulled up to Dk’s

Thought Dk was having an Aero Swapmeet, but it was just Dk’s newly painted aero all over the front yard. Dk’s color is a real strong gold, darker than his previous gold, and has a bunch of metallic flake in there. He told us it was the Egay special. The pics really don’t show the metallic luster all that well;  the pics don’t do this paint job justice to begin with…

The light really affects Dk’s new color a bunch. Its got that Sunburnt theme going on in this pic:

After we showed up and took a look at Dk’s paint, Kyle started to do work. He fiberglassed his front passenger-side fender that had the gnarly crack in it the day before along with some parts of his aero, so he didn’t have to do anything major. Although, he did slap some Gorilla Glue on the cracks just to make sure they wouldn’t break again. Him and Dk threw some bondo on Kyle’s car to cover some chips/dents/cracks/etc that were really noticeable.

And while they were doing work, I was being lazy snappin’ pics and looking pretty.

Dk let me drive it up the street and park it. All I have to say is the Dk Steering mod gives this FC a hell of a lot of steering angle. The steering angle is ridiculous; its just as good or better than my stock s13…
