I recently hit up SoWo 2009, a BMW, Audi, V Dub, mega meet that was held in Helen Georgia. Basically the reason this meet is held in the random small town of Helen, is because Helen is like a small German town and basically everything in the whole town is based off of Germany down to the buildings. Not to mention its nestled in the North Georgia mountains. Ok, Ok enough with the Nat. Geo documentary.. It was a good turnout somewhere around 500 Euros were there throughout the course of the weekend, here’s an idea of the amount of people there.
and here are just a few pics i took of the many cars that were there. These Euros know how to rock it.
This Mk4 was on bags obviously but you have to see those BBS RS’s in person, they really are THAT pink.

A nice Murdered out Audi
Audi and Jetta Chilling together, oh and take note that this little cluster of euros was away from the “party” racing some go carts at an indoor go cart track, this was not all of the cars by all means haha.
This guy rode down all the way from New York. For some reason, I want a beer right now…
His car was sofa king fresh.
Same can be said for this Jetta, but this guy definitely won the Fitment award even though he was on bags as well..

Overall, i really enjoyed going up there. The weather wasn’t sufficient, as it rained all day, but it was still fun to get away from it all and go cruise in the mountains. I definitely love the mountains, and will for sure be at next years show with better coverage, hopefully it will be held at the same spot, in Helen. If you read my previous post, i cant wait to head back up there with my new shoes. Ill have to take pics on my next mountain run.
